This is a fantastic opportunity at a major media owner who publish leading magazines

In this role you will be maximising publishing sales revenue from a defined list of Advertising Agencies
o Achieve targets in line with strategies, budget or relevant reforecast, primarily focused on maximising revenue, yield, share and profit
o Drive business through your dedicated hub, sharing knowledge with colleagues to boost revenue
o Developing personal sales strategy for individual agencies, identifying and tracking business prospects, and monitoring agency performance
o Managing day-to-day relationships with relevant agency stakeholders (from junior through to senior level), ensuring that you are briefed on all relevant business
o Maintaining up to date knowledge of all brands and their associated platforms
o Negotiate and ensure that the highest rate is delivered on each piece of business in line with share
o Maximise share out of your agency patch vs competitors
o Seek out and contact all potential advertisers, driving all new business opportunities and upselling where possible across the business
o Ensure that all business obtained is profitable
o Be fully proficient in TGI, NRS and other industry or company research and develop sales arguments to secure business
o Attend a minimum set level of meetings per week in line with your KPIs
o Turn around all leads within 24 hours
o Ensure that Salesforce is at the heart of everything you do

• Carrying out other actions necessary for the achievement of primary accountabilities
o Maintaining knowledge of appointed agencies and clients, including market position and broad strategic objectives
o Ensuring that accurate and up to date client records are maintained at all times
o Maintain a positive team player attitude in order to create team spirit
o Ensure all administration connected with the sales process is accurate, timely and efficient in order to minimize mistakes (e.g. Salesforce CRM and bookings, emailed booking confirmations, inclusion of PO numbers etc)
o Cultivate a thorough knowledge of the media industry and keep abreast of significant competitor brand developments
o Attempt to resolve any account queries within 24 hours

This role will be measured by:
Financial
• This role is directly responsible for the achievement of Budget/RF publishing revenues for a defined list of agency clients
• Achievement of the overall Agency Sales Publishing revenue target

Non-financial
• Demonstrate core company competencies through behavior on a daily basis

• Proven track record of success in ad sales and demonstrated negotiation skills

• Experience with publishing landscape and preferably agency trading
