You’ll join this agency as an eCommerce and Performance specialist Manager, embedded within a dedicated client services team. You will coordinate and drive the agenda for multiple performance & eCom channels on a global basis for a leading global brand, with a particular focus on driving success across Amazon platforms.
Reporting into the eCommerce Director, you will be responsible for delivery, coordination & reporting of the eCommerce & Performance strategy at global level, for a leading brand client in the alcoholic beverages category.
Collaborating with channel specialist leads and their teams, you will lead the day-to-day activation and optimization agenda for performance channels on this client; in particular paid search, display, Amazon (Search and Display) and Criteo channels, taking responsibility for the quality and success of commercial outputs for the client.
This is a client-facing role; the manager will translate the client’s objectives into performance/ecommerce briefs, analyse and report back on progress to the client, and pro-actively present new opportunities for growth to the client, under supervision of the eCommerce Director.
As an Amazon platform specialist, you will drive an end-to-end eCommerce strategy for the client which combines all Amazon channels, tools and data to deliver sales growth. You will also build productive direct relationships with Amazon as part of a wider Omnicom partnership.
You play a key role in identifying opportunities to drive the path-to-purchase, and ultimately retail sales, for the client through collaborations, partnerships and new channels; these include shopper marketing integrations, Omnichannel eCommerce strategies, content and merchandising, affiliates and retail analytics.
You will Develop and own monthly global reporting across platforms for eCommerce activity, incl benchmarking of performance
Must demonstrate operational experience and understanding of Amazon platforms as both a media and sales platform; ideally including deep knowledge of both AMS Search and AMG Display media offerings
Experience of eCommerce/retail–focused media and/or broader performance media for a client or agency, including demonstrable knowledge of Search and Display.
Ideally from an eCommerce background within CPG, experienced in driving sales indirectly through 3rd party retail platforms, including biddable shelf models.
You will be able to explain complex concepts to clients and colleagues in a way that is easy to understand. You should be able to sell your work to clients and to colleagues, and be able to present your ideas in compelling manner.
A data-driven, evidence-based approach to media and marketing; able to structure and drive a test & learn agenda and operate with agility.
Able to make clear tactical recommendations based on knowledge and experience. Analytical skills and ability to access, intepret and structure the creation of reports . • Strong numeracy and Excel/PPT skills. Able to provide expert interpretation of data on applicable platforms; able to write-up and present recommendations.
You will be able to juggle multiple priorities, and understand when and how to delegate work to other people in the team.You will need great attention to detail, and you will ensure that the work delivered by the team is of the highest quality.
You will be a leader in your team, able to recommend new approaches based on your experience. You need to be creative in the way you solve problems - think differently.
