The Role:
As part of the account team, the successful candidate will work on the magazine portfolio and its website, with key objectives to quickly establish, build and maintain relationships which deliver revenue streams from London agencies
The company are looking for a high-caliber individual who has a strong combination of business acumen, ideally publishing experience, engaging sales personality combined with ambition and agency contacts.

Responsibilities:
This is commercial role tasked with monetizing the magazine's proposition to agencies within your business patch. This will require a high level of understanding of the product
Generate revenue
Managing a portfolio of agencies
Achieve company objectives and targets
Develop strong and trusting agency (planners, buyers and other functions) relationships
Work closely with the commercial teams
Ensure you have top knowledge of the market and position within it
Identify revenue generating opportunities and implement them
Delivery of presentations
Reconciliations
Necessary administration

Skills / experience:
Relationship building - be a positive ambassador the company
Commercial acumen – focused on incremental revenue generation from a known/new client base
Creative thinking – ability to identify opportunities and develop new initiatives
Goal orientation – focused on setting and exceeding personal, team and organizational goals
Sales – strong experience and expertise
Interpersonal skills – effectively communicating, building rapport and relating to others at all levels. Adept at networking and able to socialize productively Strong media sales background with good agency/client relationships
A proven track record in delivering revenue
Understanding of marketing and media planning processes

Personality:
Must be a confident and credible individual, enthusiastic, self-motivated and with self-set high standards of workmanship. Possess the gravitas and personal characteristics to communicate at all levels when dealing with agencies and all teams involved in the process
Need to show initiative and enterprise at all times
Numerate
Ability to think and act creatively and laterally
Ability to have fun and socialize productively
Hungry to succeed in a competitive media landscape
