This is a fantastic role for a senior digital planning expert to provide excellence in digital and client leadership, with an influential point of view, and the ability to see the bigger picture and provide a forward-thinking approach not just within digital but across all aspects of campaign planning and activation.
As well as providing best in class client servicing you will also be part of managing and developing a team, imparting your knowledge to strengthen client relationships and encouraging organic strategic growth.
Working as part of a client facing team including comms planning and client leadership. Liaising with colleagues daily.
Defining and owning the digital agenda on all levels – from activation strategy to digital channel investment and supplier/partner selection
Setting the overarching direction for digital activation and own performance of all activity
Where relevant, working with clients as their strategic digital consultant – above and beyond media, supporting them on technology, data, content and more – all in collaboration with relevant agency teams, in particular Data and Insights.
Understanding clients’ businesses and hence their needs and requirements in the context of delivering those services and helping clients select relevant partners and technology outside of the agency if suitable
Articulating clients’ digital activation strategy for the year and monitor, tweak, course-correct as appropriate, working with client, client teams, activation planning and implementation teams
Ensure strategic and tactical setup is ambitious and meets or exceeds client expectations
Liaise closely with trading team and platforms to ensure we are supporting key media partners and fulfilling our commercial ambitions as defined by budget
Operating in a non silo’d, programmatic first approach supporting our pure play platforms
Being a key stakeholder in ensuring TRR scores are appropriate in the areas of digital subjects
Driving the innovation agenda ensuring that new initiatives are fostered on all levels and implemented appropriately - bringing innovative digital thinking to clients ensuring they remain informed on digital advertising
Become integral to new business pitches as and when called upon

Someone with proven ability make things happen, with genuine passion for digital who wants to create the new and different using data, content, technology and analytics.

The successful person will be someone with proven ability to build close relationships with clients but who also immediately builds credibility, amongst the team and the industry.
It will be of benefit if you have executed digital in some form. Digital specialism is not just about ‘what’ digital but making sure how we activate is protective of our client’s brands, and set up to allow the communications to be measured and optimised effectively.
This role is to work with the specialist leads to make sure the best practices and solutions are brought to bear on our clients.
