Key Purpose of Role
The Activation Department is responsible for the planning and buying of OOH solutions on behalf of all of this major outdoor specialist's agencies and clients.
Account Executives work within an allocated team in the Activation Department. The roles works alongside and support Account Managers and Senior Account Managers on a number of accounts; planning and buying campaigns for clients/agencies in their team and developing good relationships with media owners.
Account Executives are expected to undertake all basic tasks within the team and learn and develop their planning and buying skills and to develop knowledge and expertise about the ‘Out of Home’ Sector.

Overview of Key Accountabilities, Responsibilities and Duties

• Find ways to develop strong relationships with agency, clients and media owners
• Helping to compile OOH solutions in response to the client brief alongside senior colleagues
• Developing good working relationships with clients
• Develops basic OOH solutions for clients/agencies
• Develop a basic understanding of clients’ sector
• Collate production requirements
• Co-ordinate campaign photography and send over to clients/agencies
• Undertakes competitive analysis and post-campaign analysis
• Compile production reports
• Prepares site tour documents and logistics of the site tour
• Identifies and appropriately raises client issues
• Update internal databases as required
• Undertake administration of bookings
• Manage expectations of client/agency, media owner and team members well
• Demonstrates use of industry and Kinetic planning tools and follows 4D planning process
• Collates information from vendors and collates and updates market reports and availability
• Assist in quoting planning and buying rates
• Assist in optioning and buying campaigns
• Start to develop good negotiation skills
• Develop knowledge of vendor activity and building relationships and rapport with Media Owners
• Begin to develop strong relationships and networks throughout the company
• Good understanding of the company's offering and to be able to communicate this
• Being a buddy to Apprentices and Junior Executives
• Gets involved in the wider company business; helping with training, forums, agency initiatives, internal and external events etc.
• Attend all company meetings, forums, Media Owner talks and training events
