The Role
The Agency Group Head supports the Head of Programmatic & Digital Sales in leading and setting the direction for their agency team with a core day-to-day focus on driving daily revenue. Achieving this requires setting excellent standards in customer servicing for clients, account planning and investment teams, as well as high quality pitching, implementation and performance management of digital media managers, assigned agencies and agency deals.

The role includes:

• Revenue generation across all their digital products (including display, mobile, video and programmatic)
• Day to day management of team and revenue which includes: reporting numbers & forecasting, agency analysis, client specific insight, leading daily stand up’s, team meetings and weekly revenue reporting
• Day to day client servicing which includes: support in senior meetings, comms planners with an AD / BD Mid level management focus
• New business pitching which includes: proactive pitching - focus on identified key clients/categories, inspiration sessions, brief responses & proposal writing

Management responsibilities:

• Management and development of the team
• Set and manage the team key performance indicators
• Revenue performance versus targets
• Delivery of overall business plan
• Implementation and performance of agency contracts
• Lead on all trouble shooting across agency patch as the key point on contact

Additional responsibilities:

• Support in the quality of pitches
• Brief responses and presentations
• Helping create best in market sales collateral
• Generating high value briefs from senior contacts
• Internal digital resource & strategic support
• Support in campaign troubleshooting

About this person:

The Agency Group Heads are digital media sales specialists with excellent digital knowledge who are prepared to challenge themselves in areas that will often be new to them. They are confident presenters and proactive in getting in front of senior digital & AV planners/buyers as well as agency trading desks in order to drive programmatic and digital properties to the top of agenda’s and media plans. They are incredibly inquisitive and up to date on an ever changing digital landscape. They will also have a wider perspective on the role digital plays in the company's overall business objectives. Being a strong leader is key, they will be coming in to a fantastically talented team who are passionate about the brand and products we sell and will be looking for leadership and inspiration to continue the strong work that has helped establish their digital footprint in the last 3 years, so this is an exciting but equally challenging role.

Experience Required:

6 years digital & Mobile experience
2+ years of management experience (preferred)
Programmatic experience (Dealing with or working in agency trading desks and/or DSP / SSP’s)
Experience in commercialising Data and Audience
