The company are a group of fantastic venues who have a great media offering.

The BDM Manchester will leverage pre-existing market relationships in the Manchester/Leeds media arena to generate new revenue streams into the media partnerships team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To be an ‘EXCITER’ in the Manchester marketplace. To generate interest and revenue across the company media partnerships portfolio
• Work directly with agencies and clients, using existing relationships to sell the media solutions and commercial partnerships program owned and operated by the company
• Be able to extract value from the company event calendar to create effective audience solutions needed to engage clients and agencies
• Work with the Head of Media Sales to create bespoke media quotations
• Work with the Head of Sponsorship to create innovate proposals
• Work alongside the wider company media partnerships team to ensure effective co-ordination of sales that maximise media asset utilisation.
• Identify incremental revenue opportunities that can be sold to the market
• Be able to use market trends and client tracking resources to maximum benefit
• Manage effective and productive commercial relationships between all clients and the company
• Be organised and target led to achieve annual sales numbers

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Educated to degree level is desirable
• Demonstrable selling, negotiating and presentation skills in a commercial environment
• Experience in the Manchester media sales environment, preferably in OOH
• Understanding the needs and objectives of rights holders and brands when selling and creating successful partnership programs
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Proven track record and working at all business levels from top down
• Dynamic and forward thinking, with the ability to maximise opportunities and revenue
• Highly motivated by the opportunity to develop additional revenue streams and creative in problem solving
• A proven track record of delivering results consistently
• Driving Licence preferable
