Key outcomes and competencies:
Qualify leads to ensure Sales are meeting with prospects that satisfy their minimum spend and client profile requirements
Analytic ability and industry expertise: identifies viable prospects based on a deep understanding of the industry, our own offering and an accurate analysis of the prospect’s needs and budget
Accurate record-keeping: manage the CRM database to record, manage and report on all stages of the prospecting process whilst maintaining, troubleshooting and updating protocols
Book creds meetings in line with monthly targets, as set by the CCO
Verbal and written communication: proactively conveys information and ideas in a compelling, 100% accurate way, focusing on and clearly articulating how the company can support the prospect’s business
Active listening and problem-solving: identifies blockers to booking meetings and creates workable solutions to those. Threads the specific needs of individual prospects into a personalised dialogue
Attentiveness and proactivity: monitors changes in the prospect that generate an opportunity (eg mergers and acquisitions, product and services changes, staffing changes)
Efficiency: prioritises and works methodically to ensure time is spent on genuinely worthwhile prospects
1-3 years’ experience in achieving targets in a sales-driven environment.
Experience influencing key decision makers and senior stakeholders
Familiar with SalesForce or other CRM tools
Experience selling to ecommerce retail businesses
