Role Outline
The Strategy team at work across the entire agency’s client base, as well as on all new business opportunities. Their role is to improve the quality of work the agency produces, by empowering the agency and their clients with strategic skills and knowledge that will help them produce the very best work of their careers.
This role will involve working across all the agency’s clients and on new business .

Responsibilities
• Use knowledge of media planning products, tools and services to support team to deliver innovative and creative solutions to client briefs
• Work with internal media teams to continuously review plans to look at how things could be done more efficiently and with more impact
• Design and manage research initiatives to deliver more significant insights
• Contribute innovative, fresh ideas for relevant parts of the pitch/plan content – know internal and external factors affecting the client
• Source and collate data and info required for pitch process accurately and on time. Attend pitch (if appropriate)
• Be a trusted expert on media solutions, having a point of view across all media including Digital
• Be comfortable at presenting full Communications Strategies to experienced clients

• Keep agency knowledge at the forefront of current and future industry thinking
• Contribute thinking to shape strategic client comms plan through actionable insights
• Understand and articulate what the role of a specific media channel can bring to the overall communication channel mix
• Use and champion their bespoke planning tool
• Know and understand the client, their business/brand, their customer, their economic environment, industry, target customer and who their competitors
• Develop innovative ways to research and unearth unique insights
• Be proactive with the use of data and research in work

Championing excellence
• Support the internal teams to deliver outstanding client service through management of communications plan against pre-agreed brand objectives
• Work with internal team to challenge client briefs when necessary, ensuring clarity on objectives and key plan information
• Collaborate with the internal teams to implement outstanding campaigns:
 Connect with internal specialists to provide them with the right insights and intelligence
• Know how to use and utilise industry tools – eg TGI, Touchpoins, Comscore, Survey Monkey, BLOGS etc
