You will be working as an extension of the agency's Global Network Client team in the Amsterdam hub, overseeing day-to-day digital activation responsibilities on a key EMEA client (in the sports sector). Reporting to the Global Account Director, you will be responsible for the overall planning and activation of digital activations for the client Performance and Lifestyle brands.

The Role:
Fully allocated to the client EMEA business – 15 markets
Global Account Manager; Activation
This role will sit alongside another global AM who will focus on planning and client-facing strategic responsibilities. You must be highly collaborative with your planning counterpart to ensure total consistency across the account.

Remit includes:
Negotiation, buying, activation & reporting of central campaigns… including programmatic display, programmatic video and vendor direct partnerships
Identifying and recommending partnerships for the entire EMEA region
Co-ordination with specialist internal teams.
Management of a fully allocated Global Account Executive
Driving forward data-driven marketing approach, and setting up of DMP or DMP light solution. Trading via DMP and DSPs across multiple markets, and ongoing optimization
Implementation of ad verification tech
Campaign tracking, optimisation, and post-campaign analysis
Proactive recommendations to client about how to advance their digital capabilities, creation of digital data roadmap, execution of development plans; including bringing in internal practices (centers of excellence) as needed for incremental projects and support
Client budget management
Market support as needed to support digital excellence across the region
Collaboration with tagging and trafficking team to maintain existing standards of naming conventions, dashboard data integration
The agency are looking for an experienced buyer… somebody who ideally already knows agency processes and tools or as at least worked in digital buying systems in the past (ie. DDS, MediaOcean)

• Bachelor’s Degree related with Advertising, Marketing, and Communication
• More than 4 years of experience as a media planner, with multiple years of digital activation experience in a managerial role
• Advanced English level necessary, other languages appreciated
• Hands-on experience entering and managing digital buys in digital buying systems required
• Confidence is using digital planning tools like comScore, reading DCM reports and Google Analytics data
• Negotiation capability (to broker partnerships with media owners)
• Experience in international account coordination or activation is a plus
• Hands-on experience creating data segments, managing DMPs is a plus
• Communication skills, dynamic, flexible, proactive
