Role Outline
The role involves working in a large cross discipline team involving creative, data and CRM specialist to drive awareness and subscriptions from consumers direct to the client digital Player. The account spans across Europe though is managed centrally.

Data & Analytics team - The data and analytics team are wonderfully diverse (with a touch of quirkiness). Team members range from hard-core data engineers who are passionate about marketing and understand business needs to analysts (or more fashionably titled data scientists) who are not afraid of balancing the art and science of marketing to produce meaningful recommendations.

As an Data Analyst/ Data Scientist.You will be responsible for leading day to day analytical requirements for assigned client event groups. Along with this you will be responsible for training, developing and supporting the more junior members of the team.

This role will also involve working across the agency’s clients on new business and contributing with the other teams

● Taking ownership of analytics output for assigned accounts/campaigns
● Collaborating with campaign team(s) to provide regular insights and recommendations that would feed into campaign optimisation as well as medium-longer term in-depth analysis/research
● Adopting appropriate techniques (either through experimental design or through econometrics modelling) to scientifically evaluate campaign performance and testing results
● Being the bridge between the business users (both internal and external) and the data engineering team and contributing to reporting dashboard roadmap
● Helping shape the agency's data analytics offering through actively exploring and applying new techniques in the field of marketing and consumer research (e.g. the revival of statistical learning with more powerful machines)

Likely Candidate

● You are likely to have 1-3 years of relevant agency experience, be passionate, ambitious, and curious
● Degree(s) or working experiences in applied science/social science fields
● Experience in data analytics role (ideally in the field of marketing, advertising, consumer research)
● Experience in basic data manipulation with SQL
● Basic knowledge of ad-serving and media agency workflow
● Basic knowledge in statistics - descriptive statistics, regression, probability, sampling, hypothesis testing
● Strong numeracy, attention to detail and time management
● Good written and verbal presentation skills
● Ability to work in a team but also a self-starter

Bonus points
● Basic understanding of popular ad-servers as well as their reporting APIs and logs (e.g. data transfer files in DoubleClick stack)
● Experience with one or more programming languages (R or Python)
● Experience with popular libraries in R or Python for data analysis (e.g. for python, numpy, pandas, scikit learn)
● Experience with data visualisation
● Basic understanding of attribution and marketing mix modelling
