Position objective
To lead on the agency's PPC strategy and sector development and provide senior support to other members of the PPC team
New Business
• Lead on new business activity for all Google products (first point of contact for New Business director)
• Ensuring standard agency documents are up to date for generic approaches
• Working with New Business Director to tailor documents and proposals
• Contribute big ideas and sector expertise to pitch and tender processes including cost matrix and planning grids
• Attend pitch and new business meetings where required
• Onboard new clients including account auditing, restructure recommendations and client inductions/education
• Contribute to overall smooth running of PPC team by managing key accounts
• Campaign proposals, set up, optimisation, reporting and billing on these accounts
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally
• Provide cover where necessary on other accounts
• Ensure the PPC team is continuing to learn and develop – track certifications, exams and training with view to improving agency accreditation
• Provide strategic support to other members of PPC team across necessary accounts and projects
• Assist DHOD in recruitment and onboarding, induction and appraisal process where necessary
• Work with DHOD and HOD to future proof and grow the team via recruitment, retention, training and development
• To take on line management responsibilities following 6 month review – roles tbc
Finance and reporting
• Perform account audits and restructures for existing client accounts where required
• Support DHOD in regular data capture and reporting for auditing purposes eg annually for ROH
• Work with HOD and DHOD to analyse client margins and ensure consistency, delivery of department targets and increasing revenue

• To ensure agency relationship with Google (plus secondary suppliers including Bing and LinkedIn) is as strong as possible, affording opportunities including agency training, client events and training, previews of new product launches, assistance with tender/pitch processes, Google Grant process and management, and that AKA is a preferred partner in the entertainment industry for innovation
Personal development
• To use internal resource to further knowledge and understanding of all areas of digital media to encourage cross pollination in planning
• As a senior member of the team, to lead by example in a consistent, professional manner. To act as a positive ambassador for PPC, Media and the agency both internally and externally
